James's 5th Birthday

James had a party on the 28th July even though his birthday is on the 31st July (just like Harry James Potter). It was a mixture of new friends from school and old ones from nursery.

There was an incident when Scarlett (from school) met Hannah-Rose. :o)

But everything worked out.

Since it is the summer holidays, James was at Musical Theatre Workshop that week, so after class he took Hannah-Rose to Pizza Hut *LOL* for their romantic lunch date. Transformers and Power Rangers are the big thing in his life at the moment, hence the costume and the cake.

Halloween

Michael Jackson was right when he sang, "It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark, Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart........" That's what it was like when James Shukri put on his Frankenstein Monster mask for Halloween.

He loves scaring people but in turn was scared by other kids in their costumes. We reckon that next year we would have to take him Trick or Treat-ing.

Nursery Uniform



School Uniform



Grey long trousers, white polo t-shirt and a jumper. Luckily, we only have to swap the jumpers between nursery and school.

New School & Nursery

James starts at new School and Nursery this week. He goes to Bright Start Nursery from 08:00 to 12:30 (he has lunch there). The nursery staff then walks him to School.


He's at school from 12:50 until 15:20.


Then the nursery staff will pick him up from school and walk him back to the nursery. He gets afternoon tea there and Hamish will pick him up from nursery at 17:15. Long day for him and he is usually tired when he gets home.

He goes full time next January; from 09:00 to 15:30. He will still be picked up by the nursery staff after school and Hamish will pick him up from nursery after work.

Ravenstone House Nursery

Leaving party at Wendover Woods. After 3 years at nursery, James and his friends will be leaving Ravenstone House on the 18th of August 2006. Everyone is going to school. Everyone has to dress up as either a pirate, a princess, a superhero or a bug. James being to his heritage went as a pirate.



This is when Hannah-Rose finally caught her Pirate Prince.

James's 4th Birthday

On Saturday, 29th July 2006; we went to Grandma's house and James had a little family party. Grandma made James a dinosaurs cake. Aimi, I bet you can name them all. :o)

We had James's party on Sunday at Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway www.buzzrail.co.uk. We were joined by James's nursery friends and some family friends. Here's the picture of the birthday train complete with James's nameplate in the front.

What was really special was James was allowed to "drive" the train. In truth he was in the cab with the driver being held by Hamish. He had a wonderful time.

While you were sleeping

Aren't kids wonderful? They take a lot of time and effort; they cost lots of money and they can even hurt you (when they start talking). They take you away from your friends and things you like to do but while they sleep......
